About this extension

Connect your own Oracle Cloud Infrastructure tenancy (API signing key, OCI Request Signing RSA-SHA256) to see and manage Compute instances, Object Storage buckets/objects, Autonomous Database systems, IAM users/groups, Monitoring alarms, and Usage/Cost reports from Imperal. Your API key is verified against your tenancy before it's saved. Scoped to the operational core -- OKE, Data Science/GenAI and Oracle Analytics Cloud are out of scope.

What you get

Every capability exposed by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, metered per action and guarded by the two-step safety protocol.

  • connect_ociwrite

    Connect your own Oracle Cloud Infrastructure tenancy by saving an API signing key (tenancy OCID + user OCID + fingerprint + private key) plus your home region, after checking it actually works via a harmless Identity read. A Read-only IAM policy is strongly recommended for the user you create.

  • disconnect_ociwrite

    Disconnect an OCI tenancy: deletes the saved API signing key. Nothing in OCI itself is changed.

  • list_connectionsread

    List the connected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure tenancies.

  • list_virtual_machinesread

    List Compute instances in the connected OCI tenancy, optionally filtered to a compartment.

  • get_virtual_machineread

    Read one Compute instance in full.

  • start_virtual_machinewrite

    Start a stopped Compute instance.

  • stop_virtual_machinewrite

    Stop a running Compute instance.
