About this extension

Connect your own CloudHealth (Broadcom/VMware) account (bring your own API Key from your account settings) to read cloud provider accounts, assets, perspectives (cost-allocation views), OLAP billing/usage reports, and governance policies, plus a value-add spend overview report. Read-only in this release -- registering new cloud accounts and creating policies remain in the CloudHealth console for now.

What you get

Every capability exposed by CloudHealth, metered per action and guarded by the two-step safety protocol.

  • connect_cloudhealthwrite

    Connect your own CloudHealth (Broadcom/VMware) account by saving your API Key (from My Profile > Get API Key), after checking it actually works.

  • list_connectionsread

    List the connected CloudHealth accounts.

  • disconnect_cloudhealthwrite

    Disconnect a CloudHealth account: deletes the saved API Key. Nothing in CloudHealth itself is changed.

  • list_accountsread

    List cloud provider accounts (AWS/Azure/GCP) registered in the connected CloudHealth account.

  • get_accountread

    Read one cloud provider account in full by its CloudHealth account id.

  • list_assetsread

    List assets of a given type (e.g. AwsInstance, AwsS3Bucket, AzureVirtualMachine) tracked in CloudHealth.

  • list_perspectivesread

    List perspectives (CloudHealth's custom cost-allocation views) configured on the connected account.

  • get_perspectiveread

    Read one perspective's schema in full by its CloudHealth perspective id.

  • list_policiesread

    List governance policies configured on the connected CloudHealth account.

  • run_olap_reportread

    Run a CloudHealth OLAP billing/usage report (e.g. AwsBillingInvoice, AwsMonthlyBillingUsage) with chosen dimensions, measures, and a time interval.

  • get_spend_overview_reportread

    Value-add report: summarize recent CloudHealth billing usage by cloud service for a chosen time interval.
