About this extension

Connect your own Hootsuite Developer App (OAuth2) to manage social profiles, scheduled/published messages, and organization members via the Hootsuite Platform API.

What you get

Every capability exposed by Hootsuite, metered per action and guarded by the two-step safety protocol.

  • connect_hootsuitewrite

    Start connecting your own Hootsuite Developer App (Client ID/Secret + redirect URI). Returns a one-time browser authorize_url. Open it, sign in with Hootsuite, approve access, and Hootsuite redirects back to finish the connection automatically.

  • disconnect_hootsuitewrite

    Disconnect a Hootsuite account: deletes the saved OAuth2 tokens. Nothing in Hootsuite itself is changed.

  • list_connectionsread

    List the connected Hootsuite accounts.

  • list_social_profilesread

    List connected social channels (e.g. Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook pages) on the connected Hootsuite account.

  • list_messagesread

    List messages (scheduled/sent/failed/pending/rejected/drafted) for one or more connected social profiles.

  • create_messagewrite

    Publish (or schedule) a new message to one or more connected social profiles.

  • delete_messagewrite

    Cancel a scheduled message before it's sent.

  • list_org_membersread

    List members of a Hootsuite organization.

  • audit_hootsuite_accountread

    Build one aggregated social profile overview for the connected Hootsuite account: total connected profiles broken down by social network type (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.).
